Internships at EBAY

Use this for contacting folks you know…

eBay Research Labs welcomes applications for internships for summer 2011. We have a great internship program that provides a rich set of topics for summer research projects for students in computer science, engineering, statistics, or other related fields. The summer should provide great mentoring from researchers in the labs and is an environment for interacting with fellow students in a different setting.

With hundreds of millions of buyers and sellers, and hundreds of millions of live listings at any point of time, millions of daily transactions, and billions of daily queries on eBay, the labs provides an amazing playground for researcher interns to work with data and conduct experiments at scale. Topics for research are diverse - Search and Information Retrieval, Machine Learning for Ranking, Recommender Systems, Classification, Text Mining, Log mining, Analytics and Optimization, Trust and Reputation, Large Scale Computing, Human Computer Interaction, Mobile applications, and many more.
